For our littlest library goers, another exciting activity awaits at the same time for children aged 8 and under. The Turlock Art Lab invites these young creatives to explore the concept of symmetry by crafting monstrous painted creatures. With adult supervision required for children under 4, it’s a perfect opportunity for families to engage together.

The Friends of Turlock Library will gather at 6:30 p.m. on October 2nd, welcoming all community members to come together for camaraderie and shared interests. This spirit of community continues with a sewing class scheduled for October 4th at 1 p.m. Participants aged 18 and up can learn the basics of making a fabric-wrapped basket, alongside mastering the zig-zag stitch on sewing machines provided by the library. Registration for this hands-on workshop is essential, exhibiting the library’s commitment to fostering practical skills among adults.

The excitement doesn’t stop there! Python Ron will grace the library with his intriguing show on October 4th and 11th at 3:30 p.m. Here, animal enthusiasts of all ages can interact with reptiles and learn fascinating facts in a fun, educational environment.
