The new robots, U Factory Lite 6, utilize Python programming and are designed to be easy to use and affordable. According to Professor Kevin Frost, these robots can be programmed to perform tasks suited to a variety of industries and settings, making them an ideal tool for students looking to gain hands-on experience.
The ITTC offers an 18-credit hour Robot Automation Certificate, which teaches students how to program and use robots like the U Factory Lite 6. This comprehensive program provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the field of industrial technology.
“We are thrilled to offer this new robotics training capability to our students,” said Professor Frost. “With the growing demand for automation in industries, our students will be well-equipped to meet the challenges of the future.”
